RareX

A complete corporate communication toolkit, built from a blank page.
Rare earths · Corporate identity, repositioning and communication toolkit
RareX set out to present itself as an emerging phosphate–rare earth producer to a widening audience. As Head of Corporate Strategy & Development, Michael repositioned the company’s narrative, gave it a new tagline and built the complete communication toolkit to carry it: from logo and business cards to presentation, website, annual and ESG reports, booth, posters and banners.

The engagement in a minute
The Objective
A growing project, a widening audience – and one story for all of them.
RareX is developing the Cummins Range rare earths–phosphate project. By 2022 the project was advancing and its audience widening, from investors and prospective offtakers to government funding programmes and the Traditional Owners of the land.
The leadership team and Michael agreed the plan: reposition RareX as an emerging phosphate–rare earth producer, capture it in a new narrative and tagline, then build every communication element from scratch to carry it – identity, presentation, website, reports, announcements, newsletter, community engagement and event material – at the scale of the company’s ambition.
What Michael Put in Place

Corporate Presentation
Narrative · Tagline · Script · PowerPoint template
Built from a blank page. Michael rebuilt the narrative around a new tagline, wrote the script and designed every visual: project maps, market charts, the financial case and the team. Delivered as a PowerPoint template, so every future deck stays on brand.
The value: this design language became the new RareX corporate identity.
Website
Design proposal · Corporate site · Investor information
The site began as a full design proposal, every page and component drawn out and agreed before a line was built: hero, company, projects, team, market information, ASX feed, investor proposition and ESG. The live site followed it, built around the project and the investment case.
The value: the identity carried into the interface: navigation, imagery and the live ASX price in one place.

RareX Corporate Identity & Stationery
Logo · Colour system · Business cards · Letterhead
A refreshed mark and a pixel-gradient system in the RareX blues, applied consistently from business cards and letterhead to every document the company issues.
The value: one identity across every touchpoint.
Annual & ESG Reports
Annual Report 2023 · ESG framework and Sustainability Report 2022
Cover and layout system designed in 2022–23, first used for the Sustainability Report 2022 and carried into the Annual Report 2023, from the maiden ESG framework and self-assessment to the annual report, designed to read as one family.
The value: a maiden ESG report that put RareX’s sustainability commitments on the record.

ASX Announcements
Release template · Investor hub
A release format that reads cleanly on the ASX platform and in the inbox: a fixed header, footnotes, contacts and a direct link to the investor hub.
The value: every announcement in the same voice and the same system as the rest of the company.
Newsletter & Community Engagement
Project · Market · Native title · Stakeholder engagement
A two-page newsletter for shareholders, community and partners: project status, market context and scoping study results. With the ESG report it formed the engagement package for RareX’s native title discussions, explaining the project, its footprint and its potential benefits in clear language. Michael also supported the engagement on Country with the RareX team.
The value: a package the company used in its native title discussions and negotiations.

Events & Large Format
Booth design · Posters · Pull-up banners · Office display
The same identity carried into three dimensions: conference booth design, posters, pull-up banners and the large-format project display in the RareX office – so the company looked the same on a trade-show floor as it did on screen.
The value: an instantly recognisable presence at every conference and in every meeting room.
The Result
One identity and one story across every touchpoint.
The most complete corporate communication toolkit Michael has delivered: a new narrative and tagline carried through every touchpoint, from business card to booth. A maiden ESG report put RareX’s sustainability commitments on the record, visibility with prospective offtakers and partners grew, and the engagement package was used in the company’s native title discussions.
Result: maiden ESG report published; engagement package used in native title discussions.
