Privacy Policy
How MPC handles your information
MPC INT PTY LTD, trading as MPC Consulting (ACN 667 252 093) (“MPC”, “we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Details you give us through the contact form, by email, by phone or in person: your name, company, position, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- Files you upload or send to us, such as presentations or reports, and any personal information they contain.
- Technical information when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. Our security and hosting tools record this to keep the site secure and working.
You can contact us without giving your phone number, and you can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself. If you do not provide the information we need, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to prepare for and deliver our services.
- To manage our relationship with you and our clients, including invoicing.
- To keep our website secure and improve how it works.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for marketing you have not asked for, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Files and confidential material
Material you send us is used only to review your enquiry or deliver our work. We treat it as confidential and do not share it outside MPC without your permission, except with the service providers described below.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, email, scheduling and document storage providers and our accountant, and only as far as they need it. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the European Union and the United States. We choose reputable providers that protect the information they hold. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work and stay secure. We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, where people click and how far they scroll. These tools use cookies and collect information in a form that does not identify you; Clarity masks anything typed into forms. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
How we protect and keep it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including password-protected systems and secure (HTTPS) connections. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete it or remove identifying details.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email office@mpconsulting.au and we will respond within 30 days.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
