Utah Brine Corporation

Investor-ready in five weeks.
A funding path decided on facts.
Corporate positioning and US federal funding
Neometals set Utah Brine Corporation a clear goal: prepare a complete corporate presence in time for its US investor trip. MPC delivered it in five weeks, led by Michael – and, when a US federal funding opportunity came up, fully mapped the path so management could make a facts-based decision.

The engagement in a minute
The Objective
A new company, a US investor trip on the calendar – and one story to take there.
Utah Brine Corporation’s Lisbon Valley project targets lithium and potash from deep brines in a proven oil-and-gas basin, with existing wells, road and power access – a dual-commodity asset with a clear US policy tailwind.
With the investor trip scheduled, Neometals and MPC agreed the plan: proposition first, then identity, website, investor deck, two-page project briefing and imagery, delivered in full and on time. When a US Department of Energy opportunity came up along the way, the decision was to explore it properly: the programmes and their requirements, the corporate framework and partnership model a strong application would need, the internal and external resources, cost and providers.
What MPC Put in Place
One corporate system, then the path to a US federal grant mapped – each piece with the value it delivers.

Corporate Identity
Proposition · Logo · Colour system · Imagery
MPC wrote the proposition first, one brine, two critical minerals, three federal mandates, and built every element from it in one pass: logo, colour system and a photographic language for a project that had none, the Paradox Basin wellheads, the plant at dusk, carried across website, presentation and print.
The value: the same message in a data room, on a conference screen and online.
Website
utahbrine.com · Narrative · Design · Build
Neometals opened its project files – geology, data, studies, plans. MPC shaped them into one narrative where investors, agencies and partners each find their answer: the investment opportunity, what sets it apart, its fit with the North American critical minerals framework and its place within Neometals.
The value: utahbrine.com, live before the investor trip – the reference every conversation points back to.
Corporate Presentation
Investor deck · Stakeholder meetings
Where the website explains in depth, the deck works in the room. MPC wrote and designed it for the executives’ stakeholder meetings: the same narrative, condensed to the points that open a conversation – the opportunity, the exploration target, the federal funding pathway and Neometals as operating partner.
The value: one story in every meeting, with the website behind it for the detail.
Project Briefing
Project briefing · Made for Neometals
For UBC’s parent, Neometals, MPC produced a two-page project briefing: location, geology, exploration target, work programme and investment thesis, in the Neometals look and feel.
The value: the UBC story sits naturally alongside the rest of Neometals’ investor material.

US Federal Grant Readiness
Corporate framework · Partnership model · Resources · Partners · Decision
When the DOE opportunity emerged, MPC mapped what a successful US federal grant application takes: the programmes open to UBC, the corporate framework and partnership model required, and the resources for every workstream, from environmental and tribal consultation to IP. MPC then briefed qualified partners and brought Neometals a quoted shortlist.
The value: management knew what a winning application demands – and had the partners to deliver it.
The Result for Utah Brine Corporation
Investor-ready on time – and a funding path judged on facts.
Utah Brine Corporation met its US investors with one story across deck, website, project briefing and imagery. And management gained a clear understanding of what a successful federal application requires: the corporate framework, the partnership model and structure, the internal and external resources, and the partners to deliver it.
Result: investor-ready in five weeks; a US federal funding pathway scoped for a management decision.
MPC delivered independently and at speed. Led by Michael, it took Utah Brine Corporation from a blank page to an investor-ready company in five weeks, without burdening management. When a major US Department of Energy funding opportunity emerged, he rapidly mapped the pathway forward, coordinated the workstreams and presented management with the information needed to make a well-informed decision. Across UBC and other Neometals-related initiatives, Michael consistently demonstrated commercial judgement, initiative and an ability to deliver outcomes with minimal demand on management’s time.
